A couple of hours ago, I had the pleasure of speaking with a wonderful woman in California  who, most recently, has become a new friend – a beautiful friendship in the making.  We talked about spiritual things and she asked me what my training has been with respect to the Bible, religion, etc.  I shared with her that I have been focused in these areas for several years – but that my interpretations may be a bit different than many or most.  My journey has very much been a circle that has brought me back to where I began the journey. The road of spiritual enlightenment began with me as a quest – a quest or search for answers.  Basically, for me at least, it has been a search for my deepest connection to Life itself!  In earthly terms, a person might say that they’re interested in getting in touch with their family roots.  But the experiential road of Life offers experiences that reveal a sensing of brotherhood and sisterhood that often transcends limited earthly perspectives.  I have found that certain relationships have fostered such deep loving experiences that have allowed my understanding of family to grow, particularly as I acknowledge the depth of love and care that I have shared and experienced.

Through such realization, One can begin to open their heart more and more often and perhaps even open it wider than before, letting more Blessed Ones come into closeness with them.  Love does one unmistakable thing continually – it invites closeness!  As One matures, the ability for loving one another may increase.  “When two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst.”  ‘Gathered’ is another word that means coming together – letting US be close!  This is the prerequisite for inviting the Lord to be with US – letting Oneness be present so that His Will be known and done, Love made manifest through co-creation!  This is the truest meaning of family, at least as far as I AM concerned.

Personally speaking, I don’t know of a theological school that teaches all of this inclusively.  One may receive a foundation of spirituality from many different sources because Life always gets its messages across, but not always as fast as some people might like it.  I suppose that this is why patience is always the first step.  Patience allows a higher quality of our internal atmosphere to be present so that a true foundation of tranquility is set for the purpose of Divine co-creation.  “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain.”

These are the thoughts that are moving through me. I invite you to click on‘comments’ and share your thoughts and experiences on this subject.
