Christianity got locked into a human nature prison long ago and we’re only beginning to parole ourselves. The prison walls have been present from two conscious and unconscious/subconscious aspects which are guilt and judgment. We came up with names for such attitudinal outworkings which are “sin” and “human nature.” There is a deep part of our human histories that reflects having done unspeakable things. Among these things was the crucifixion of our Master, Jeshuah – the Christ. The horror of such an outworking has been beyond our forgiveness because we have not yet accepted who we actually are. Any act is merely a step in the evolution of Being. A child, who was amazed and attracted to fire, set fires for fun in his or her youth, but at some point grows out of that stage of activity. Human nature wants to label that child “an arsonist.” We give the behavior a name and that tends to give it permission to be alive! Whatever we acknowledge is going to expand – there is no way around such outworking. However, if I ignore something and pretend that it’s not there, I’m just kidding myself and making believe that it doesn’t exist in my consciousness. You can’t win the wrestling match. Evol must complete its evolution. That which is disappearing will disappear and I don’t really have to do anything about that. My focus is to be on one thing and one thing only – Letting the Light shine through the loving acknowledgment that perfection is born NOW, in every NOW! Let the beauty of the wings of the butterfly develop. Let our consciousness allow the cocoons, which have hidden the growth of our butterflies, be fully appreciated. For without them, we would not have our magnificent butterflies.
We stand and look at our world and see the potential of a butterfly. However, we cannot try to change anything in ourselves or anyone else. It doesn’t work that way. However, I can rejoice in Being! Perfection is born on the basis of rejoicing and giving thanks for all things. Yes, I was responsible for every unclear and destructive outworking and perhaps I created conditions that kept the butterflies hidden for longer than they needed to be. But, more importantly, I AM responsible to live gracefully and thankfully NOW! To glorify God, I can do nothing else except to fully Love and appreciate the glorious opportunity to live and express the beauty of Spirit in the present moment…
Last night during our Connecticut Emissary of Divine Light Service, a friend of mine spoke some important words. He said, “It all about looking upward.” That is where the true focus is. Yes, I agree with that wisdom. And I also find that looking upward begins to take on the reality of looking inward. To point One’s capacities towards a relationship with God (upward), it must be known inward. This does not negate my rightful stance in Life which is well depicted by the beautiful humility of a bow. Holding One’s head high, as One expresses the truth of Being is the beginning of all things. But then, through ‘creative relationship,’ what follows requires that in my reverence for God and in service to His Creation, my head, and actually every part of my Being (my attitude), most naturally bows as Creation’s true Servant. Thank YOU for your gentle, passionate and loving nature. Being is present – Being bows – and Being knows through Love all that needs to Be!
These are the thoughts that are moving through me. I invite you to click on ‘comments ‘ and share your thoughts and experiences on this subject.

“Are You Trying to be Good?” Hmm…if I have done so, then both the word ‘trying’ and ‘good’ should have let me know immediately that I was not “Being.” When I have ‘tried,’ it has always been from a sense of incompleteness. The expression of God through each one is always as complete and perfect as is possible with the available raw materials in every moment. That must mean that when I have tried, I have sought to put forth something other than what God would express through me. That doesn’t sound very creative in the long run.
And ‘good’ is clearly an expression of judgment. A red flag should have gone up any time one of us used comparison to present ourselves…usually in a favorable light. Oh, for the honesty to simply be, and to accept our expression as a step along the way–the way of a whole lifetime–of being continually fashioned and honed to be an ever more beautiful expression of Spirit. If we have created something heavy or burdensome, the Lord God is still there, so why not let that perfect Spirit transform and uplift the situation? It simply requires of us, of me, to keep an open and light heart, the atmosphere wherein Spirit lives and flourishes. Part of the lightness is a willingness to be refashioned, to embrace change, and to release my death grip on the troublesome old ways.
“But then, through ‘creative relationship,’ what follows requires that in my reverence for God and in service to His Creation, my head, and actually every part of my Being (my attitude), most naturally bows as Creation’s true Servant.” How true…we allow ourselves to bow (bend, change) in relationship with our creator, but the same is true in our relationships with any of his emissaries….those Angels he has sent into our lives…we bow and spin and step with joy, as we create the dance of living….here and now. What a glorious Life we are privileged to share.
