I AM defined– it’s the moment of truth, when I completely bring myself to the Lord through thought, words and prayer. But, through the living process, how is this accomplished? It’s all about loosing something to have it or to actually know and to experience the truth. The “having to loose to have” experience is one of the paramount aspects of the living or creative process. In my experience, I can see myself tacking through each day, but never knowing exactly where I AM until I’m lost once again. When I realize that my course is in a disoriented state, there is only one thing that I can do to reorient myself. I take my attention to the only true place where direction is absolute and all things are perfectly defined. The ever-present Being of Perfection awaits His herd of sheep. Seeking guidance in the Way, The Truth and The Life does not always need to start because of a dramatic loss, because once One realizes the importance of Being found, One longs for the comfort of “Being in Place” through prayer and meditation. One doesn’t need to get too far off the mark before finding oneself reorienting accordingly. There are two great experiences that I have found to be experientially life-defining: one is when I have been lost and then I AM found, and the other is when I have assisted another person to find their way to the One.
Do YOU let your world live its Life or do You feel that it must be lived a certain way? How can anyone be found until they realize that they’re actually lost? A tone of humility is always the signature of a lost soul. However, we must allow ourselves the privilege of getting lost over and over again. In truth, we are always traveling a path never traveled before – so how can we expect not to get lost in the process? It may seem like you’re going around in circles, but life is a spiral – it’s not a circle and appearances are (perhaps) similar, but ’similar’ is not exactly the same at all and appearances are illusive. Forget where you think that YOU are. You’re lost, and once YOU admit that – ONLY THEN can you be found. I AM present to walk with Him - with His Perfection - Together. To truly see the path, I must seek sight through His eyes. Though I may never completely see, I AM offered the privilege of taking another step in His Way on the spiral path …
There is a perfect place and we’ve really never departed that place – because its perfection is the nature of Life itself. Orient your compass setting to the Place of all Places and YOU know exactly where that Place is! Love ya!
These are the thoughts that are moving through me. I invite you to click on ‘comments ‘ and share your thoughts and experiences on this subject.

hi DAD

These words call to honesty, absolute honesty. I have had the experience of being poised in that eternally present point called Now. I have also functioned in my moment to moment living ‘under the influence’–the influence of the past, the distant past or the past of a moment ago. In that space, evaluation and measurments came into play, invariably giving rise to some sort of judgement…sometimes disguised as a ‘decision.’
Yet, I have experienced enough Spirit-guided living to know that I do, indeed, need to loose everything of the past to be fully available to the impulse of Spirit in the moment. In that sense, I need to be lost, by loosing everything that gave my human nature ego a sense of identity and of false security. Releasing all in each new moment so that something of newness can find the space to be born, is pivotal to being a channel for the Spirit to express here and now, in the world just as it is..in me, just as I AM.
When I hesitate or doubt, all I need to do is look at the larger picture, and the beauty and order that is evident there. Does the Creative Process offer less to man? Of course not. We/I just have to be in the right place, on the tip of Now, open and welcoming of the gifts Spirit would bring forth through us.
You mention ‘prayer and meditation’…that, for me, is the key to entering and remaining in the place of Creative Being. Let me never get so arrogant as to forget this simple act of surrender which opens the door to glorious living.
