Maturity and responsibility–who really knows what that means?  What happens when a person or people labor hard and long on building something that they were taught had to be built that way?  What happens when One realizes that almost every single aspect of their world was created from a disconnected impetus?  What if you learned that there were, and there are, no real enemies?  What would you do if you found out that the person of whom you think the least is almost a carbon copy of yourself?  What if you found out that everyone, without exception, was essential to your Life?

Years ago, I wrote a poem that well depicts the most important aspect of sociological realization that can be understood and known.  Here is that poem entitled, “Out Of The Mouth Of Babes.”

Out of the Mouth of Babes!

As the words of Nostradamus have come to bear,
inner and outer politics of a nation, starting to tear.
Our world is amidst cataclysmic change,
as media and soldiers try to stay out of missile range.
The results of our choices are coming full face.
This time, will it be the whole human race?
We view our world as it cries once again;
the heart of mankind does have to mend.
I remember, years ago, in a media telecast—
the winds were ferocious and moving quite fast—
a little girl was asked of her thoughts that day,
as the world around her was starting to pray.
She spoke words aloud, of a mysterious truth
as out of the mouth of babes, here was the proof.
She said as sad as the destruction has been,
the hearts of our people have come together again.

The hearts of our people came back together again, from the vision point of the little girl, because she witnessed people caring for each other in their passion to heal one another, protect each other and rebuild things in a way that served the “Whole,” something that had been long forgotten.  When the mindset of separateness leaves our minds and hearts, we move together “perfectly” as One!

There are no competitions left to compete in.  Everyone must win or no one can win at all!  We see a newborn baby crawling on the floor for the first time and our heart sings at this living expression of victory.  Can you and I appreciate the newness that Life is continually bringing forth?  We are all just babies crawling and that is how innocent our hearts need to be!  This is the creative perception.

We lost sight of our babies in Life, crawling for the first time, because we were too busy doing important (??) things!  But now everyone is, or will be, returning to that innocent crawling place, so as to have the true victory once again.  Let us not ever become too busy to witness, appreciate and care for every baby’s (…every person’s) new steps.

An injured person who looses the ability to use their legs in a normal way must rediscover how to become mobile.  They may need to crawl before they can ever walk again.  This has been the state of human life.  We lost and/or misused all that we had–ourselves and each other.  What we thought we were doing became more important than who was doing it.  This was a crippling aspect of what became almost total blindness and immobility.  Still, the child within each of us knew it was out of sorts.  Only your child knows the true way, the way of innocence, the way that can see Life’s truest potential.  Let our victories come through the heart of our child, the One within each of us.

These are the thoughts that are moving through me. I invite you to click on ‘comments ‘ and share your thoughts and experiences on this subject.
