The Heart Of Spirit Must Know Stillness And Peace Throughout All That Is To Come…
In the world of man, expectation destroys all that Spirit would bring. Whether you or I am honest about it or not, we enslave our relationships with expectations. We don’t let anything become what Spirit would have it be. This is the state of the human struggle. Yes, indeed, whatever I respond to is what empowers what is manifested in my life. There is much to respond to in Spirit. But what do I actually choose to respond to within my own capacities?
On the subject of response, I was thinking about how trappers work to catch that which they prey. Usually, a trap is set so that the prey will find its way into a place where they are trapped and cannot leave. People tend to do the same with each other. With animals, the prey sometimes senses the intensity from the trapper and avoids the trap. It’s also true with people – but usually the animal’s senses are more acute than that of a human. It can get tricky when anything is being sought after!
It is said – seek only the Lord. That says it all, really! The space of the Lord is a simple one. There are no complications. People make things really complicated and then set out to explain all about the situation that they perceive to be a problem. Too many words are spoken and nothing is ever really said. Love is a simple thing that doesn’t get cluttered with content. Love doesn’t need anything except a place for its expression. Whenever we leave the simple place of Love, we find ourselves focused on a myriad of things to rationalize our thinking processes. But we never get anywhere with that either. The mind can’t find what was never missing in the first place. The “trapper” (the human mind) never really gets to catch its prey – because the real gift that it’s been seeking has always been present. Nothing is really missing. We each have it all, from the standpoint of the ability to give Love. Nothing fills the human mind’s trap. Setting the trap never had to happen and it never needs to happen. When we find ourselves seeking the grace within our capacities that allows the giving of Love from our whole self, we each are filled.
This afternoon, I took a nap, as I have been nurse maiding a physical condition of late and I found myself seeing very detailed visions of what will come to the earth – to mankind. It was a chilling experience that involved waters rising very high and a great storm of epic proportion – stronger than anything on record. There was also a strange band of light in the sky – almost like a stream of light energy that seemed to have things (images) held in it. The band of light was moving slowly – as if it was like a flowing snake or river of light.
I realized after the dream that nothing that man has built will survive the things that are to come. Things that were not built by the power of the Holy Spirit will crumble and that time may very well be soon. It is now very important for all people to be close to those whom they truly Love. It is only the power of Love that will allow a tomorrow to come for all…

“We enslave our relationships with expectations.” What a strong and, sadly, accurate statement of the prevailing human experience. It is really pathetic, when I think about it, that we focus on the form of things rather than trust the Spirit. It is Love that we all seek, to give and to receive–a natural process of the ebb and flow of sharing life. However, rather than focusing on Love, and allowing the fluid movement between us as people, we try to hang onto those individuals we “like” to insure that we have someone(s) to love and who will love us. What does that really say about our supreme Love for the Lord? “Love the Lord thy God with All,” and then it follows, to “Love Others as Thyself.” The order is crucial and bespeaks having the apex of our Love always centered in the Lord, the One who is above form. If our Love is centered where it belongs, and full of the trust that would engender in our hearts, how could we ever “enslave” those individuals we say we love with our personal brand of expectations, wanting something from them for ourselves? We couldn’t possibly. We would freely allow the flow of life to rhythmically bring in or move out the forms/relationships in our lives according to the divine design. Except when we are stuck in human nature self-centeredness, the forms are secondary and we know that as we express Love, so would we naturally and always attract the same back to us–no need to worry and hang onto a particular form/person, there would always be ones with whom to share Love.
Several years ago it came to me that in limited human nature consciousness, we are engaged in a game of musical chairs. We try to hang onto one ’seat’ until we are sure of having another one to which we can move, always afraid of being left out. Movement on this basis is jerky, devoid of the graceful movement natural to Life. All we need to do is to rise up to the level of true consciousness, which sees everything as One and knows that everyone is included and can be cared for. From this vantage point, we see as God and love whomever and whatever is close to us, experiencing the fullness of Love as it fills and overflows our capacities–nothing to be gotten, everything to give–and incidentally, receiving in return that same overflow from others who are likewise giving Love. As each and every Being does this, all are cared for and God’s Love once again fills the Earth. Let it begin with me!
Your vision of what is to come makes so much sense to me–the Lord has been very patient, giving Man time to learn the only real lesson, that of Love. At some point, we will have to receive the consequences of our choices. May there be a nucleus of Beings in the Body of Man who express what they know of Love, who can anchor the shift back to the divine design, without the loss of all flesh. Lord, thy will be done.
