Tonight, I watched a portion of Hannity’s America, where MC Hammer was interviewed because of his new music DVD single about the war in Iraq. I Am so grateful that I watched and listened carefully to the interview because, I heard one of the most prophetic statements ever, by MC Hammer. He said that the value of human life was beyond speculation.
To protect freedom and liberty is one thing, but at some point we must all pause to try and let something peaceful emerge into consciousness for all of humanity.
There really is a lot speculation, when it comes to planning out a battle. But if we don’t allow God to play a role in every situation, we find ourselves planning and acting out of fear.
I hope that I was not the one that deduced some wisdom from MC Hammer’s powerful, and intrinsically true, statement.
We can’t go through this life, acting as if we alone are God. Everyone is a part of God, but we are not alone!
As a martial artist, one learns aspects of fighting, in order to have the ability of fighting well. But the larger goal of becoming great at fighting is to not have to fight at all. It’s just to be prepared to fight well. Interestingly enough, fighting well requires that one is in harmony with themselves and with others. As true harmony is achieved, there is no need to fight! It may seem like a paradox, but much of life is in fact a dichotomy; in relationship to everything else.
